Although I only rode four days in June, it was a very enjoyable month of cycling for me.
The highlight was a two day, 216 km ride along the Vennbahn as far as Sainkt Vith in Belgium, where I stayed overnight.
The longest distance cycled in one day was the 108 km journey south to Sainkt Vith, which also provided the greatest elevation gain of 867 metres.
The summary of June’s rides can be found here.
This month’s photos can be found here.
Towards the end of the month I discovered that my bike’s steering headset bearings were completely worn and some of the ball bearings missing.
The bike is now over 5 years old and has covered 20779 km.
I decided to replace the bearings myself with a sealed bearing complete headset from Acros.
Having ordered them online there will be no cycling for the next week or so while I wait for them to arrive.
