Sunday’s 37 km cycle ride started and finished in the village of Horn, not so far from Roermond.
Much of the ride was through the extensive woodlands of the Leudal area and along the course of the river Maas.
These were regular cycling areas for me from my time living in Weert.
It was certainly nice to return to familiar cycle tracks and country lanes for a few hours.
Today’s featured image was taken on the banks of the river Maas, near Buggenum looking in the direction of Roermond.
