Having completed Ligne 38 & 39 of the RAVeL network yesterday afternoon, I checked into my B&B in Liege.
I spent the rest of the day exploring the old town and enjoying a meal which just had to include frites and Belgian beer.
Leaving Liege behind me I continued to follow the flat course of the Meuse (Maas) for about 15 km before heading into the hills of South Limburg.

I arrived home mid-afternoon with many memories and photographs of this great two day tour, the first I’ve done this year.
The total distance cycled today was 51 km.
