We have recently returned from our truly fabulous holiday in Italy.
It’s more than 900 km to drive there, so we had overnight stops in Germany and Switzerland on the way south, and two stops in Germany on the way home, all part of the holiday!
Once in Italy we stayed in a superb ground floor apartment in Clusane, on Lago d’Iseo, one of the smaller Italian lakes.
We didn’t have a lake view this time around but the marina area was about 100 metres walk.
Two years ago we stayed on the opposite side of the same lake, so we were certainly in familiar surroundings.
This trip was about 3 weeks later in the year than last time, so we had a mixture of warm sunny days, overcast days and a little rain on a boat ride on the lake.

As usual, we come home and immediately start plotting and planning the next holiday….I wonder where that will be…..?
