This was to be my last ever foreign motorcycle tour.
Since 1983 I have been fortunate enough to take my motorcycle abroad no less than 59 times.
Try as I might the 60th trip evaded me.
During those 59 overseas trips, which totalled 325 days, I covered a total of 61129 miles on foreign roads & loved every single one of them, rain or shine.
Of course, I kept a motorcycling diary!
This particular trip was a 1039 mile loop from Ijmuiden, Netherlands, where the Newcastle ferry arrived, down through Belgium & France before returning to Ijmuiden.
As always the roads were great & scenery magnificent.
