Leudal is a large, mainly farming, area of Limburg province to the east of the Wessem-Nederweert canal and a municipality that adjoins that of Weert.
Today’s 60 km cycle ride around Leudal took me through many new areas in very warm spring sunshine.
One of the most common crops in these parts is asparagus & today I saw many hectares awaiting harvest.
I could not believe the size of the asparagus…maybe just two or three would make a meal!
