My 60 km cycle ride today took me through some truly spectacular North Brabant countryside to the east of Eindhoven.
Around 30 km was on dedicated cycle tracks through woodlands & over the heath lands of Strabrechtse Heide.
I stopped for a while, right in the middle of this area just to absorb the complete peace & quiet.
If camping was allowed it would be a truly magical place to spend a night.
Moving on, the small town of Heeze, my halfway point, came & went before I saw a sign indicating a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery at Sterksel.
This was just a short detour from my planned route but when I got there I found that the cemetery was within the grounds of a monastery, currently closed to visitors because of the Covid19 pandemic.
Fabulous cycling in warm sunshine & zero wind, another great day out on the bike.
