23rd-28th July.
Taking the ferry from Newcastle to Ijmuiden in the Netherlands I then headed deep into Germany, eventually arriving in Munich.
After taking a good look around the BMW museum & BMW World, I headed back to Ijmuiden.
By the time I got back to Edinburgh I had covered 1230 miles.
This was to be the first of only two overseas trips on this particular ‘bike, such a shame as it’s built for long distance touring.
I always enjoy visiting Germany and the Netherlands, great fun!
