1st April.
All Fools Day for some, but for me it’s the day I collect my sparkly new BMW R1200RT-SE from my local dealer, Motorrad Central in Dalkieth, near Edinburgh.
It’s a factory order which I had to wait about eight weeks for & it has every conceivable optional extra fitted.
I saw it about a week ago at the dealer when the crate arrived from the factory in Berlin, so eager was I to lay eyes on it as soon as possible.
There may well be a lot of motorcycling in the not too distant future!
