The 84 km cycle ride today was another loop to the north of Heerlen, mostly through the open German countryside.
There was little sun when I left home just after 07:30 but it was warm, warmer than I expected and I soon regretted not wearing my shorts today.
At around the 30 km mark I cycled alongside Lago Laprello, near the German town of Heinsberg.
I have passed this way a few times previously and overcast skies today meant very few pictures were taken here.
I continued on my way, making good time on mostly familiar roads and cycle tracks and arrived home before 13:00.

This was my first ride since my epic ride last weekend to Wuppertal and it was great to be out on two wheels again.
