June was a very busy month for me, but not so much cycling!

Following a ten day visit to the UK, we had a long weekend away to the north of the Netherlands, after which I spent 9 days refurbishing our master bedroom.

Therefore I managed just three rides, totalling 192 km, in the last week of the month.

The longest ride was 73.6 km to Kuttingen and the greatest elevation gain was 864 metres on the ride to Heuvelland.

All three rides involved early morning starts, to avoid high temperatures later in the day, and were completed in nice warm sunshine.

This month’s photographs can be found here and a summary of my rides is here.

I’m happy that my fitness has not suffered too much after a month or so without riding and I’m looking forwards to my planned rides for this summer.
