The view from our lounge ‘porthole’ window is constantly changing so I thought I would conduct a photographic exercise to capture the changing views.

Yesterday was the ‘Longest Day’ in the northern hemisphere so the idea was to take photographs at six hour intervals, starting at 0600 hrs & finishing at midnight (Yaaawn…..!).

Fairly pleased with the result, although the quality of the night-time image is somewhat compromised by the limitations of my 15 year old Canon Digital Ixus 50 camera.

No amount of Photoshop trickery would improve the image to the standard of the others, but you get the idea.

Maybe time to get a new camera?
