It was 2 degrees and bitterly cold this morning as I set off on a 35 km cycle ride to the south east of Weert.
The halfway point of the route was the hamlet of Kelpen-Oler.
I certainly didn’t want to ride much further in the cold so from here I headed home.
My objective for the year is to complete the CW5000 challenge (link below).
With this in mind I’ve still got 1046 km to go with just 33 days of the year remaining so I need to keep the wheels turning!
Hopefully conditions will be more favourable tomorrow for a longer trip.
