We’ve just returned from a great 5 day break in Amsterdam.
Ans and I travelled by train from Heerlen.
We were joined by my sister Karen and brother-in-law Brian who travelled by Eurostar from London.
Our accommodation was a great Airbnb apartment close to the Jordaan district and within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to do.
Highlights included the Keukenhof tulip gardens, a 90 minute canal boat tour, many memorable meals/beers and late evening sessions of the highly addictive Yahtzee!
