This morning I cycled north of Heerlen, across the border into Germany for another visit to the large nature park of Teverener Heide.
I think I’ve cycled to this area about 7-8 times since moving here 3.5 years ago, but it’s always different and I’m always discovering new tracks to explore.
Although the ride was a relatively short 33 km, it was a great trip through the woodlands and moorlands, mostly in warm, sunny weather.
Having said that the weather forecast for later in the day, and for much of the week ahead is for strong winds and storms.
