It’s 16 days since I last rode my bike.
For me this is far too long, especially in the summer months
The main reason was our 10 day family visit to the UK, plus horrendous weather in the three days since we returned.
Therefore I was determined to get out cycling today.
Today’s ride was a relatively short 35 km loop to the West of Heerlen.

The weather this morning was far from ideal cycling conditions with extremely high winds and a few quick rain showers.
Despite this I’m really happy to be out on two wheels again.
