It was another beautiful morning for my 37 km cycle ride in the Dutch countryside today.
The route was a loop to the west of Heerlen, and included castles at Terworm, Wijnandsrade and Schaloen.
Even with the bright sunshine when I left home before 09:00, it was fairly cool, thanks to the moderate winds from the north east.
However, cycling up a few hills soon warmed me up and now, as I write this at home, it’s 23c on our west facing balcony.
Another day of cloudless blue skies helped make some interesting pictures.
I wonder where my bike will take me tomorrow….?
