Modder is the Dutch word for mud.
My bike was thick with mud after Friday’s ride through Germany.
So much so that the bike actually felt heavier, so today it was time to give the bike a good wash again.
As there is no running water down in the basement bike store I have to bring it up to the 8th floor in the elevator.
Today it took about an hour to hose off all the sticky mud….I think about a kilo had adhered to the knobbly tires and inside the mudguards.
Next time I will ride with a bike lighter than today, can you see the difference?
