Since 1975 I have attended many motorcycle race meetings at Donington Park, Brands Hatch & Silverstone.
Today I saw Barry Sheene, one of the greatest riders Britain has ever produced, come fifth at the 500cc British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
The race was won by Randy Mamola, with Eddie Lawson second & ‘Rocket Ron’ Haslam third.
I had a decent camera but not the skills, yet, to get the best from it. This shot of Barry was the best of about a dozen I took of him that day.
