Beuven is a large area of fenland near Someren in North Brabant.
Today’s 54.3 km cycle ride, in glorious warm sunshine, took me past Someren and along around 10 km of mostly gravel/sand cycle tracks that wind through the Beuven area.
This really is beautiful countryside, home to many species of wildfowl and rare plants.
There were quite a few recreational cyclists about today, all observing the social distancing rules currently in place but still very polite and making way for other cyclists and walkers alike.
I took a break next to the large lake, which is hard to photograph effectively without an elevated vantage point, but the views here really are stunning.
All in all another great few hours out on the bike.
