The Thursday cycle ride was a gentle 29 km wander through the South Limburg countryside to the west of Heerlen.

The halfway point was the village of Hulsberg where I stopped briefly for refreshments.

For some reason there are no pictures of today’s ride.

Therefore the featured image is the sunset over Heerlen this evening.

I’ve done a lot of cycling this month with some fairly long rides, so it’s nice to have a shorter ride today.

Also, I have a few much longer rides planned for September so it does no harm for me to have the occasional ‘rest’ day.
