Such a glorious autumnal day here in South Limburg for a great 53 km cycle ride.
My route today was a hilly loop to the west of Heerlen around the outskirts of Maastricht and home via Valkenburg.
The early morning air was quite cool at only 6c.
However, the cloudless blue skies and brilliant sunshine provided some great lighting for my photographs.
Today’s featured image is from the small hamlet of Eyserhalte, just 10 km into my ride.
With the arrival of autumn the days are getting shorter and colder so the opportunities for decent cycle rides is greatly reduced.
Hopefully I’ll get out for quite a few more good rides before the weather deteriorates too much.
