Twenty six days had passed since my last cycle ride, before I set out on today’s 55 km loop into Germany.

The break in my cycling activities included my first visit to see family in the UK for over 2.5 years.

My ride today was mainly on familiar cycle tracks and country roads, chosen to ease me back into my cycling without too many demanding inclines.

Today’s featured image is of the river Wurm close to the German hamlet of Nirm, where I crossed the river for the homewards part of the ride.

It’s great to be back on two wheels again!
