I live only 5 km from the border with Germany.
Today’s 58 km ride was almost exclusively over the border, exploring the back roads and forest trails, of which there are many.
Today’s featured image is from one such trail, a nice picturesque stretch near Kellersberg.
The terrain in this part of Germany is very hilly, just like South Limburg in the Netherlands.
This made for plenty of hard climbs today, accompanied by some fairly rapid descents.
The spring-like weather continues this week, with the temperature today reaching 15c degrees.
