August has been an exceptional cycling month for me.

Still restricted by adverse weather conditions for most of the month I still managed 17 cycle rides totalling 905 km, my highest total this year.

The total elevation gains were 7487 metres, which essentially means I’ve been cycling up more hills which are plentiful here in South Limburg.

The longest ride was 81.6 km to Neerharen and the greatest elevation gain was 668 metres on the ride to Schweiberg.

There are 1062 new images in my galleries here and the August collection of routes is here.

With many new rides planned, September should be a great cycling month, especially if the favourable weather forecast proves correct.
