As far as my cycling is concerned, October got off to a very poor start, with the first 10 days affected by horrendous weather.

Very high winds and torrential rain on consecutive days kept me firmly indoors, plotting and planning more cycling routes for the future.

However, once the weather allowed, I managed 8 rides in October, totalling 505.3 km, averaging 63.16 km per ride.

My monthly average speed increased once more to 21.55 km/h, the highest for me to date.

The October collection of routes may be found here and 181 new photographs are in my galleries here.

I have plenty of new routes planned for the next couple of months so I’m looking forwards to many more rides, weather permitting!
